The International Conference On Advances in Electron Microscopy and Related Techniques & XXXI Annual Meeting of EMSI (EMSI-2010) will be held at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, India during March 8-10, 2010 jointly organized by the Electron Microscopy Society of India (EMSI) and BARC. This conference aims to provide an opportunity for young scientists and researchers to interact with eminent scientists and specialists working in frontier areas of science and technology and also to build expertise in the micro-chemical characterization at nanoscale level of all kind of materials using advanced Electron Microscopy Techniques.
The EMSI ( http://emsindia.byethost3.com ) is an organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of techniques and applications of microscopy, microanalysis and allied fields in all relevant scientific disciplines. The EMSI is constituted and guided by distinguished microscopists from all over India. The society provides leadership for the discovery and dissemination of information about microscopy and microanalysis, especially in relation to multidisciplinary areas such as Physical and Materials Sciences, Life and Biological Sciences, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Developments in Instrumentation of electron microscopy and related techniques. It also serves the needs of its members who represent all the major manufacturers and suppliers of microscopes, equipment and services. In addition, the Society pursues initiatives to encourage young microscopists who may go on to influence our future.
